Additionally, this information can be applied by the worker in h is/her nonwork life. LESC is one of the largest nonhospital substance abuse treatment centers in New York City. The agency's mission is to h elp individuals and families combat drug dependency and find a new beg inning. LESC provides substance abuse treatment, mental health care, a nd social services for those whose lives have been disrupted by chemic al dependency. LESC's CTRPN/Primary Care Unit provides confidential HI V counseling and testing, comprehensive medical care, and case managem ent services.
