Abstract
A laboratory has been designed to give undergraduate students exposure to high voltages in a controlled environment. The laboratory centres around live-line maintenance of power systems and assesses some of the physical effects of working conditions on the breakdown of air as wel l as providing some experience in high voltage testing.
