Abstract
The title compound, [ZrF3(C3H7NO)2(mu-F)]2, is a centrosymmetric fluor ine-bridged dimer. The seven-coordianate Zr atoms are in a pentagonal bipyramidal environment with F atoms above and below the pentagonal pl ane. The average Zr-F bridging distance of 2.147 (4) angstrom is signi ficantly longer than the mean terminal distance of 1.962 (4) angstrom.
