Abstract
The Stark widths of the 3s S-2-(3)p (2)p degrees and 3p P-2 degrees-3d D-2 transitions have been calculated and measured in the plasma of a pulsed are. Electron densities in the range (2.1-6.4)X10(17) cm(-3) we re determined from the width of the He II P-alpha line while electron temperatures between 50 800 and 131 800 K are measured from the Boltzm ann plot of O IV Line intensities. Our experimental O IV Stark width a grees well with another experiment and with our semiclassical theoreti cal results in the whole temperature range.
