A perspective on the connections between linear and branched polymer t
heta collapses in two dimensions is provided by a vesicle model with v
acancies. Percolation geometry plays simultaneously key roles in deter
mining the multicritical properties of both problems. For branched pol
ymers, besides two distinct theta lines, a transition between differen
t collapsed regimes and several exponents are exactly obtained. Univer
sality issues are also discussed.
