The reaction of [(mu-H)(2)Fe-3(mu(3)-Se)(CO)(9)] with [CpW(CO)(3)](2)
(Cp = eta(5)-C5H5) has been reinvestigated. In addition to tetrahedral
heterometal clusters described previously the minor product [Fe2W2(mu
(3)-Se)(2)(mu(3)-CO)(mu-CO)(CO)(5)Cp(2)] has been isolated. Its crysta
l and molecular structure has been determined by X-ray methods. (C) 19
