The adsorption of californium, einsteinium, and ferminium on polycryst
alline titanium, iron, niobium, molybdenum, and tantalum was studied b
y the thermochromatographic technique. The adsorption behaviour of the
actinides under study varied in dependence on the adsorbent metal. En
thalpies of adsorption evaluated from the experimental data are in cor
respondence with partial molar enthalpies of adsorption, which were ca
lculated with a semi-empirical method.
