The present case refers to a patient with a rare localization of carci
noid tumor of the ascending colon, with a 15-year history of diarrhea,
complete absence of other carcinoid syndrome manifestations and preva
iling features of right heart failure with cyanosis. The patient was s
uccessfully treated for a period of 2 years with a somatostatin analog
ue and conventional heart failure therapy.
