Abstract
The effect of lithium content on some regularities of dissolution of p assive Al-Li alloys is studied in 0.5 M NaCl solution. It is establish ed that lithium (up to 2 wt %) insignificantly affects corrosion resis tance of passive alloys. A number of suppositions explaining the resul ts is discussed.
