Abstract
Cyanoacetamide reacted with alkyl substituted olefins, Mn(OAc)(3) and Cu(OAc)(2) in glacial acetic acid affording gamma,delta-unsaturated am ides. Ultrasound irradiation caused a significant yield enhancement.
