Abstract
Aluminum alloy 2024 powder was produced with an inverted disk centrifu gal atomizer at angular speeds up to 40,000rpm (4189rad/s). The relati onships between the size of the atomized particles and the diameter an d angular velocity of the rotating disk are discussed.
