A rare case of bleeding Meckel's diverticulum in an adult, in which Tc
-99m pertechnetate scan, mesenteric angiography, and barium examinatio
n failed to establish the diagnosis, is presented. The diagnosis was m
ade by laparoscopy, and a laparoscopically assisted resection was carr
ied out with a smooth postoperative course, early discharge from the h
ospital, and rapid return to work.
