Abstract
We present calculations of the hyperfine structure of alkali-dimer res onance potential curves in the regime where the resonant dipole-dipole interaction is comparable to the hyperfine interaction. We discuss th e implications of these curves for the dynamics of excited-state colli sions between optically trapped alkali atoms.
