Abstract
The superconducting transition temperature, T(c), of La2-xBaxCuO4 has been measured under high pressure up to 8 GPa. T(c) is found to change drastically at the pressure where the structural phase transition tak es place. This finding clearly indicates that there exists an intimate relation between the crystal structure and superconductivity.
