An investigation of the unsteady flow of an incompressible viscous flu
id with a suspension of spherical particles through a square channel i
n the presence of uniform transverse magnetic field under the influenc
e of pressure gradient has been carried out. The flow phenomenon is ch
aracterized by a few non-dimensional parameters, which convert the equ
ations to considerable generality. The influence of St, Re and Ha on v
elocity distributions of dust and liquid particles has been shown grap
hically.
