Abstract
The title tris-chelate complex [Cd(C7H4NS2)2(C10H8N2)] is monomeric, w ith a coordination sphere of the type N4S2. The Cd atom is linked to t wo thiazole N atoms and two exocyclic S atoms from two bidentate 1,3-b enzothiazole-2-thiolate anions and two bipyridine N atoms. The Cd-atom coordination geometry is trigonal prismatic.
