Abstract
An integral representation result is given for the lower semicontinuou s envelope of the functional integral(OMEGA)f(del(k) u) dx on the spac e BV(k) (OMEGA: R(m)) of the integrable functions, whose the k-th deri vative in the sense of distributions is a Radon measure with bounded t otal variation.
