Abstract
The W(infinity)-algebra is constructed from the Lax operator of the qu antum Calogero model. The ''generalized'' Lax equations for the W-oper ators are explicitly shown. Due to this finding, all the verifications are extremely simplified. Algebraic construction of the eigenstates o f the model is also shown.
