Abstract
The concept of lattice Virasoro symmetry in completely integrable mode ls of statistical mechanics is discussed in parallel with the notion o f lattice Poincare symmetry. To illustrate the general idea, we make a n explicit construction of the full Virasoro algebra in terms of the l attice fermion field of the free-fermion six-vertex model in an extern al noncritical held. The conserved charges that characterize complete integrability are similarly obtained.
