Abstract
The analysis presented is devoted to kinetic problems connected with t he joint effects of catalyst deactivation and mass transfer on the sel ectivity and optimal process design of catalytic processes following d ifferent reaction schemes. The relation between the process mechanism and the changes of selectivity with the drop of conversion is modelled for the presence and absence of intraparticle diffusion.
