Wk. Jozwiak et al., INFLUENCE OF PARTICULAR PARAMETERS ON OXI DATIVE CONVERSION OF METHANE IN PRESENCE OF LEAD, BARIUM AND STRONTIUM, Przemysl Chemiczny, 76(1), 1997, pp. 11
Activity and selectivity of set catalyst (compounds of Pb(II) Ba, Sr a
lso in form of supported systems on MgO and SiO2) in the process of ox
idative coupling of methane have been determined. Effects of temperatu
re CH4/O-2 ratio, pseudo contact time (WIF) and geometric parameters o
f the reactor (length, location of the bed) have been investigated. De
position of BaCl2 on SiO2 or MgO caused important decrease in the surf
ace of the catalysts. Efficiency of barium catalysts was better than t
hat of lead ones.
