Abstract
This paper attempts to bring together the latest published and commerc ially available work on the Coriolis flowmeter. The paper describes th e background to the meter, gives a qualitative description of operatio n together with the simple theory, indicates recent developments in th e literature, outlines industrial design variations and practice inclu ding sizes, ranges and installation precision, and finally considers a pplications, advantages and disadvantages.
