Abstract
The Hartmannella vermiformis small-subunit rRNA coding region was ampl ified, and the amplified DNA was cloned and sequenced. The coding regi on is 1,840 nucleotides long, and is typical of eukaryotic rRNA genes in both size and composition. Different clones contained different nuc leotides at three positions.
