Abstract
The lignocellulose resulted from furfural manufacture was modified, fo r its further introduction in different composite structures. Thus, th e obtained nitrolignocellulose, hydroxymethylated and condensed lignoc elluloses were used as additives to improve either behaviour of pulp i n the beating process or paper strength properties.
