Viscosities and densities of four binary mixtures tri-n-butyl phosphat
e+benzene, +carbon tetrachloride, +isobutyl methyl ketone and +acetyla
cetone have been measured at 25, 30, 40 and 45-degrees-C at six mole f
ractions of each mixture. From the experimental data excess viscositie
s DELTAln eta, excess Gibbs energies of activation DELTAGE of flow, e
xcess entropies of activation DELTASE of flow, and excess molar volum
e V(E) have been calculated. The molecular interactions in these mixtu
res are explained considering relative magnitude of these parameters.
