Abstract
Two new natural lignans, eso-2,3-bis(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)-1,4-butan ediol and acetoxy-2,3-bis(3,4,5-trimethoxybenzyl)-1-butanol, four know n lignans, two alkaloids and triterpenes were isolated from the bark o f Zanthoxylum heitzii and identified on the basis of their spectral da ta.
