Abstract
Starting from 9-(beta-D-xylofuranosyl)-6-chloropurine, the title compo und was prepared in four steps. Reaction with cyclopentylamine followe d by treatment of the 2'-O,5'-O-ditritylated material with diethylamin osulfur trifluoride (DAST), yielded after deprotection the desired com pound.
