Abstract
Adducts of 3'-amino-2',3'-dideoxythymidine and various methoxy-substit uted 10-cyano-3-isothiocyanatoanthracenes were prepared for use as flu orescent-tagged molecular probes. The thymidine/anthracene adducts wer e subjected to antiviral assays to determine if the adducts possessed antiviral activity.
