The porous structure of a Cr2O3/Al2O3 catalyst deactivated by coke dep
osition has been studied at various levels of coke content. The result
s obtained agree satisfactorily with a model of uniform coverage of th
e catalyst pores, thus allowing the hypothesis of pore blockage to be
discarded under the conditions investigated.
