Abstract
The hexachloroantimonate salt of the [(SCl)2N]+ cation, [(SCl)2N]+[SbC l6]- (1), was prepared in a one-step reaction from easily available [S Cl3]+[SbCl6]- and N(SiMe3)3 and isolated in good yield (60%). The comp ound was identified by chemical analyses and vibrational spectroscopy (IR, Raman). The geometrical and the vibrational data were also comput ed ab initio and are in good agreement with the experimental results.
