Abstract
The detailed characteristic of a stigmatic grazing incidence grating s pectrograph was investigated by a ray-tracing and spectroscopic experi ments. As an example of application, some new physical result on the c omparison of long-pulse and short-pulse laser driven recombining plasm a are described.
