Abstract
The explicit analytic expression for the distribution function of para metric derivatives of energy levels (''level velocities'') is derived for the chaotic quantum systems belonging to the quasi-1D universality class (quantum kicked rotator, ''domino'' billiard, disordered wire, etc.).
