ON THE CONVERGENCE OF THE INTERVAL MAJOR METHOD

We present the interval version of the Modified Accelerated Overrelaxa tion (MAOR) method and establish some sufficient convergence condition s for this method, when the interval matrix A of Ax = b belongs to som e special classes of matrices. We also obtain some results about the c onvergence of some well-known iterative methods. Finally, we give a su fficient convergence condition for the interval AOR method.
