Abstract
A quantitative model has been developed relating electrical resistance with strain and time for carbon black filled silicone rubber compound s. The model is based on concepts and methods used In the field of vis coelasticity. Relaxation experiments are performed in order to evaluat e material parameters. With these, resistance-strain-history relations , under other loading conditions may be predicted.
