L. Cristaldi et al., POWER AND CURRENT DECOMPOSITIONS INTO TIME-DOMAIN AND FREQUENCY-DOMAIN COMPONENTS - ANALYSIS AND COMPARISON, European transactions on electrical power engineering, 4(5), 1994, pp. 359-369
Many different theories can be found in the literature coping with the
decomposition of powers and currents in electrical systems under non-
sinusoidal conditions. The main difference between them lies in the do
main where the decomposition is obtained. This paper analyses both a t
ime-domain and a frequency-domain decomposition of powers and currents
in three-phase systems and shows how the comparison between their res
ults gives much more information than the results of a single decompos
ition about the load identification and the way the non-active compone
nts of power and current can be compensated.
