Abstract
The Finnish Pulp and Paper Research Institute (KCL) has studied the te chnical options for recycling the filtrates from the TCF bleach plant to the chemical recovery cycle in a kraft pulp mill. Preliminary resul ts show that chemical precipitation would be an effective way to reduc e the introduction of non-process elements into the chemical recovery system.
