Abstract
In this paper we present two approximation theorems on the strong de l a Vallee Poussin means of Fourier series of 2pi-periodic functions bel onging to generalized Holder spaces. These theorems are analogues of t he Leindler and the Prestin-Prossdorf results given in [1] and [4] for the de la Vallee Poussin means.
