Abstract
The computer simulation of stresses in thin films after heat treatment is discussed. The specificity of defect appearance and stress relaxat ion in epitaxial ferrospinels (magnetic semiconductors) during the gro wth process and subsequent cooling is examined. The peculiarity of str ucture and surface layer properties in ferrospinels is revealed by exp erimentally studying plastic deformation.
