Abstract
Basic approaches to structure description and modeling for various ato mic and molecular objects (molecules, crystals, liquid crystals, and l iquids) are considered on a unified basis. The structure is discussed topologically and geometrically, both in static and dynamic aspects (d ynamic characteristics are included in structure description). Local, total, and intermediate levels of description are established.
