J. Neuzner et al., RADIOFREQUENCY CATHETER ABLATION OF A CONCEALED ACCESSORY ATRIOVENTRICULAR PATHWAY AFTER HEART-TRANSPLANTATION, PACE, 17(11), 1994, pp. 1778-1781
Three months after orthotopic cardiac transplantation, a 46-year-old m
an developed paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia. Electrophysiolog
ical investigation of the arrhythmia led to the diagnosis of an atriov
entricular reentrant tachycardia involving a left lateral concealed ac
cessory pathway. When antiarrhythmic drugs failed to suppress the arrh
ythmia, radiofrequency catheter ablation of the accessory pathway was
performed without complication.
