Abstract
Cholinesterase activity was determined in the plasma obtained from the blood of 49 normal Black American volunteers and 48 Black American ca ncer patients. Plasma cholinesterase activity was significantly elevat ed in cancer patients. Plasma cholinesterase could be used as a diagno stic and prognostic test for various neoplasms.
