Abstract
The SAW velocity of PMMA as a function of temperature (25-75 degrees C ) and frequency (1.0-8.0MHz) is measured by the laser generation and d etection technique. From the temperature dependence of the velocity tw o turning points are observed, one of which may be related to the beta -transition of PMMA.
