Abstract
Field-aligned currents (FAC) are generated at plasma jet injection per pendicular to magnetic field lines. The FAC propagate with Alfven velo city and are connected in the ionosphere. The electrons heating produc es aurora and ionospheric plasma density enhancement. The value of the Pedersen conductivity determines the current increasing and jet decel eration by the electrodynamical force.
