PREGNANCY AND THYROID-DISEASE

This article reviews normal physiologic alterations that occur during pregnancy and delineates how the demands of pregnancy on the thyroid g land and the immunologic changes that accompany normal pregnancy resul t in the modification or development of thyroid diseases.
