Abstract
1. Oral administration of quercitrin to rats for 3 days increases the mucosal glutathione contents in ileum and colon as well as inhibits no n-enzymatic lipid peroxidation induced in membrane fractions from jeju nal and colonic mucosa. 2. After 7 days of treatment with quercitrin, rat intestinal oxidative status trends to normalize to control rats.
