A recent measurement of the charged current reaction C-12(nu(e),e(-))N
-12(g.s.) has been used to investigate the weak axial vector form fact
or F-A(q(2)) for C-12 in the range \q(2)\ less than or equal to 0.4 m(
pi)(2). The analysis yields a rms radius of the weak axial charge R(A)
= (3.7(-1.8)(+1.3)) fm corresponding in a dipole form to a mass param
eter M(A) = (180(-45)(+200)) MeV/c(2) in agreement with results deduce
d from inelastic electron scattering. From the total number of observe
d events the value at q(2) = 0, F-A(0) = 0.73(-0.10)(+0.11), was deriv
ed.
