Abstract
The completeness relation of the eigenstates of the operator a(k), k=2 ,3,4,..., a being the annihilation operator of the radiation field, is discussed. Through a modification of the normalization factor of the eigenstate of a(k), proposed by several authors including Sun, Wang, a nd Wang [Phys. Rev. A 44, 3369 (1991)], the correct completeness relat ion is proposed.
