Abstract
A catalog of kinematic distances for a sample of first Galactic quadra nt H II regions is presented. H I absorption spectra were obtained tow ard 57 H II regions and were used to resolve the kinematic distance am biguity. Combined with our previous study, the kinematic distances are presented for a total of 70 H II regions, 45 of which are new determi nations. Absorption was detected within similar to 10 km s(-1) of reco mbination line velocity for 92% of the H II regions. The positions of many of these sources coincide with giant molecular clouds and mark ri dges of possible spiral arm segments within the solar circle.
