Abstract
The authors investigate theoretically and experimentally the frequency dependence of cross-phase modulation (XPM) in optical fibre links wit h multiple optical amplifiers. The XPM phase shift in such links shows stronger frequency dependence than that in unamplified links and beco mes very small at some frequencies.
