Abstract
The magmatism of the Biga Peninsula ranges from calcalkaline (large gr anodioritic plutons) to alkaline (shoshonitic volcanics) and is closel y related to geodynamic processes. Late Caenozoic exhumation and unroo fing of the Kazdag Metamorphic Core Complex allow the study of the dee per levels of the Evciler Pluton.
